Brain Gym® is a dynamic movement based learning program. The program incorporates the whole brain-body for optimal learning and includes a variety of 26 simple, easy and enjoyable movements and activities that enhance personal, professional and academic achievement. The Brain Gym® program combines these 26 activities with a 5 step process called a "balance" to integrate movement and learning together. Taking you from difficulty and challenge to effort and ease, allowing you....to reach your highest potential, overcome challenges, increase your self-esteem and achieve your goals.
One activity known as the "cross crawl" is as easy as touching your right knee with your left hand and your left knee with your right hand to increase an awareness of core, postural muscles and to integrate the right and left hemispheres of the brain simultaneously.
The activities and movements can be done in just a few minutes and can be used by anyone. They are easy to do and the benefits may be noticed immediately.
